Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 May 2026

These terms govern your use of MyPayrollOn (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. Your data

You retain all rights to payroll data you upload to or generate inside the Service. We process that data solely to provide the Service to you, in line with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

3. SARS compliance disclaimer

MyPayrollOn uses the current SARS tax tables and rates to calculate PAYE, UIF, and SDL. It is your responsibility as the employer to verify submissions before filing with SARS and to ensure all employee information is accurate. We are not a registered tax practitioner and the Service does not constitute tax advice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to break the law, infringe intellectual-property rights, send spam, or abuse other users.

5. Plans & payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time. Refunds for unused time on annual plans are pro-rated.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced where reasonable. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the Service is available before SARS filing deadlines.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable. Your payroll data remains exportable for 30 days after closure.

8. Liability

The Service is provided “as-is”. To the extent permitted by South African law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior twelve months.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will let you know via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
